Show Fees

- Hunter Divsions with jackpot round: $50
- Pleasure/Equitation Divisions without jackpot round: $45
- Conformation/Showmanship/Lead Line: $15
- Senior/Junior Jackpot Derby Class: $25

Online entries for Schooling shows will close 8pm Thursday.
Fees are the same day of show

Indoor Show Arena

Our winter series shows are held at East Coast Equestrian Training Center and in the huge indoor arena. When the weather is good, classes may be in one of the 4 exterior rings.

Trailer parking is available in the pasture area to the right of the indoor arena. Vehicle parking is permitted along the private drive on the property.

Parking directly infront of the facility is reserved for judges, staff and ECETC boarders.

Show Rules

  • Show held in accordance with VHSA Associate Program.
  • The judge's decision is final. Judges shall not be approached without prior approval of the show manager.
  • ASTM/SEI helmets must be owrn by all riders when mounted.
  • Managment reserves the right to combine, split or cancel any class or division it deems necessary.
  • Six ribbons will be awarded to the top 6 placed competitors. championship and Reserve will be awarded in ech division.
  • All ties will reamin tied with ribbons and points shall be warded acordingly; champion will be awarded the one with the most points over fences.
  • Some shows may awards trophys to the division champions and/or prizes to class champions when indicated on the prize list.
  • Dogs, other than service dogs, are not permitted on ECETC show grounds.
  • Signature on entry form indicates riders, trainers and owners accept the condition of entry as outlined on the entry form.
  • Non-VHSA Associate divisions will not require show clothes and are informal attire.

Covid-19 Precautions

These precautions were updated on 8/1 and are subject to change as the situation evolves.
Please check this list prior to all shows for new changes.

  • Masks are required for anyone who is not completely vaccinated while on show grounds except when mounted.
  • It is strongly suggested to enter online.
  • Stalls will be assigned by show management with extra space between barn/trainer groups. We will notify you of your stall placement prior to the show. Stalls may be limited.
  • It is suggested trainers pick up show packets with rider show numbers and jump course at secretary stand day of show. A copy of participating exhibitors' valid Coggins when picking up show packet is required.
  • Social distancing must be a priority at all times. This includes the secretary stand, gatekeepers and announcers. Non-related groups standing or sitting need to keep at least 6 feet apart and no gatherings of more than 50 people in a given area.
  • It is strongly suggested you bring your own hand sanitizer.
  • Bathrooms will be stocked with disinfectant spray. It is up to each user to clean surfaces prior to and after use.

Why Coggins?

Va Administrative Code 2VAC5-70-20. Testing Requirements for Horses Exhibited at Shows, Fairs, or Other Exhibitions, or Coming into Contact with Horses Owned by Others in Virginia.
All horses assembled at a show, fair, race meet, or other such function, or participating in any activity on properties where horses belonging to different owners may come into contact with each other in Virginia, must be accompanied by a report of an official negative test for equine infectious anemia. The test shall be conducted by an approved laboratory on a sample taken by an accredited veterinarian or a State-Federal Regulatory Veterinarian within 365 days prior to such event or activity. The person in charge will ensure that a copy of the official negative test results accompanies each horse in the event or activity, and shall make such reports available for inspection by a representative of the State Veterinarian upon request. The person in charge shall exclude any horse which is not accompanied by a negative test report.


Conditions of Online Entry

Online entries are considered signed on submission.
By submitting an entry online or in print, participants realize and accept the inherent risks, injures & death due to equine activities. Every horse entered for competition will be under the control of the Show Management but Management will in no case be responsible for any loss or damage that may occur, and it shall be a condition of entry that each exhibitor shall hold the Show, Management, and the facility harmless for any loss or accident to his or her horse, horses, or equipment which may occur from sickness, fire or otherwise.
Management reserves the right to interpret all questions and conditions in regards to or arising out of an incident at the show without claims for damages or recourse of any kind. All questions not covered in these rules and regulations shall be decided by Management, and their decision is final. Discourtesy to an official or show staff by any spectator, rider, trainer or groom will disqualify the horse or horses with which they are associated and all fees will be forfeited.
